Hi everyone,
Well, my daughter is going on her first date on Friday. I tried to fight it off for as long as I could, but it's finally happening. I told her she had to go with a friend and he had to take a friend. So she's taking her best friend/almost sister who she grew up with. She's in 10th grade so she'll be older than the other boy that he's taking but that's ok. I don't want any one on one dating at this age. A group is much better. So I'm taking her to the movies and they are meeting the guys there. Then I will pick them up and take them to Pizza Hut. Then my husband will pick them up and take them home.
I know on a high level it's no big deal but I just don't want her getting involved with someone who is not a good kid AND she has better things in life to do than have a stupid boyfriend. Luckily, I keep her busy enough that this will probably only be a once in a while thing. I think it's a real problem when women define themselves by whether they have a boyfriend or man. Women need to stand independent and learn to support themselves without a man.
I added borage oil to my daily nutritionals. This has GLA (300mg) which is an omega-6 essential fatty acid. I'll do this for a week and then add the next thing.
Have a great day!
